Tendering/Estimating Engineer (MEP Engineers)
|

College Graduate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering

Experience Requirements: 3 – 5 Years

Knowledge of root cause systems analysis techniques,

Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically in MS Office Suite

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Performs check and review of all bidding documents received.(i.e., drawings, technical specifications, BOQ and client special requirements)
-
Sends RFI’s (request for information) to concerned parties concerning materials /items and information’s needed but not stated or included in the documents received.

Coordinates with support personnel (QS Engineers) to conduct material and quantities take-off
-
Coordinates with support personnel (Jr. Estimating Engineers) to send suppliers price inquiries and lead delivery schedules for the material and equipment’s stated in the received BOQ / drawings or from the QS Material Take-Off.

Prepares BOQ Excel formats and spreadsheets for costing as per company standard cost formats.
-
Coordinates with support personnel (Jr. Estimating Engineers) to follow up with suppliers regarding price inquiries.

Updates any information’s received based from RFI answers that might have impact on the BOQ prices
-
Prepares price comparison from three (3) approved suppliers for each equipment and materials specified in the technical specifications or special requirements
-
Submits supplier cost comparison result to GM / CEO for further supplier approval
-
Submits BOQ price to GM / CEO for further evaluation and comments
-
Prepares value engineering study on material and equipment’s (if required)
-
Prepares final BOQ pricing as per CEO comments and evaluations
-
Makes summary of BOQ prices, suppliers and brands used as the basis of commercial price offer
-
Ensures that deadline of tender submissions are meet and that the commercial price offer to be submitted where based from the specifications or from the latest and final item requirements from client
-
Final and formal technical and commercial offer submission of tender bid

BMS Engineer
(Engineering / Testing and Commissioning)
|

Experience Requirements: 2 – 5 Years

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree

Skills: Building Management System Engineering and Testing & Commissioning

Have strong knowledge of building automation system
-
Have strong knowledge of BMS, System Integration and Controls
-
Have knowledge of MEPF Systems
-
Preparation of single line drawings, technical proposals for BMS including compliance statement.
-
Design and configure building control system as defined in the contract documents.
-
Create flow diagrams, sequences of operation, bill of materials, network, layouts, input/output schematics.
-
Coordinate the creation of necessary shop drawings / as built drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation.
-
Assist in the commissioning of BMS system as required.
-
Provide field change information to the project team for the creation of as-built drawings and software.
-
Managing site and supervision of installation of BMS.
-
Knowledge on Industry standard protocols like BacNet, MS/TP, Lon, Modbus, OPC, etc.
-
Ability to deliver effective, innovative solution.
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

HVAC
(Engineering / Testing and Commissioning)

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably to be ASHRAE certified engineer
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience MEPF Testing and Commissioning.
-
Knowledge of applicable industry standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, ANSI, NFPA, ASTM, API, IPC, IBC, UL, AWS etc.
-

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Candidates must be qualified in air-conditioning systems and have basic knowledge about air balancing, and familiar with all tools such as Pitot Tubes, anemometer, DB meters, etc…
-
Can do tabulation for air measurement, Ability to read the ducting drawings the technical sheets for air handling units, Fan coil Units, Fans ventilators, and pumps.
-
Can do balancing for areas with negative or positive pressures.
-
Can do water Balancing and check water flows.
-
Must prepare all testing and commissioning sheets and coordinate with Consultant and client.
-
Must have basic knowledge about BMS, and HVAC controls.
-
Must be qualified in treating and solving mechanical issues like pullies changing, alignment of fan and motors, pumps and motors, etc…
-
Must have good experience in all HVAC systems and equipment, such as Centralized HVAC systems, VRF systems, Split Systems, Package roof Top units, and chillers.
-
Must have good knowledge in Chilled water systems and networks.

Electrical engineering graduate or vocational/ associate’s degree in related engineering field.

With at least 2 years of experience in related field (construction, maintenance, testing and commissioning, etc.)

Skilled in using electrical test instruments,

Knows how to read/interpret construction drawings and schematic diagrams
-
Understanding of basic concepts in electrical, BMS and fire alarms systems.

Willingness to learn continuously

Good co-ordination and inter-personal skills

Carry out/follow commissioning procedures

Carry out isolations/de-isolation on electrical equipment

Support the engineer to organize and plan all the tests within the project scope (prerequisites, EHS, tools, work permit, authorization etc.,)

Perform testing (megger, torque, etc.) to detect any electrical problem prior to commissioning
-
Conduct site readiness inspections and assist in punch list follow-up/resolution
-
Perform/assist vendor in functional and commissioning start-up on electric switchgear/switchboard apparatus and circuit-breakers, motor control center and other electrical devices or equipment within the project scope.

Assist the engineer to prepare test report

Troubleshoot faulty system and provide recommendation for corrective actions
